Register at Clayton Plaza Hotel and for the conference (in the Lobby)
7:00-9:00 p.m. Opening Reception
October 7, Friday
6:30-9:00 – Breakfast in the hotel restaurant
8:30 a.m. – Meet in the hotel lobby for a tour of two rock art sites (by bus)
Lunch in DeSoto at a fast food restaurant followed by a trip to Cahokia and Monks Mound in Collinsville, Illinois (NOTE: Museum is closed for renovation, but we will visit Monk’s Mound, the largest earthen mound north of Mexico, and Woodhenge), followed by supper at Blueberry Hill in the famous University City Loop.
October 8, Saturday a.m.
7:30-10:30 – Breakfast in the hotel restaurant
Presentations of rock art research papers (all day in Sutton Room)
9:00-9:45 – ESRARA Meeting
10:00-12:00 – Paper presentations
(break for lunch 12:00-1:30, on own)
1:35 – 4:00 p.m. – Paper presentations
4:05-4:30 — Keynote Speaker: Jim Duncan will give an overview of Picture Cave and an update.
October 8, Saturday p.m.
5:30-7:00 p.m. – Closing Banquet at Hotel in the Oxford Room
7:30-9:30 p.m. – Live Auction!
(don’t forget to bring items for the Auction: archaeology books, unusual items, T-shirts, statuettes, jewelry, small antiques, etc.)

7-9 a.m. 7:30-10:30 – Breakfast in the hotel restaurant
11:00 a.m. Check out of the hotel
You may choose to sight-see on your own following the Conference. The St. Louis Art Museum, The Missouri History Museum, and the St. Louis Zoo are all within about a 5-10 minute drive. The Gateway Arch, our nation’s tallest monument, is east of Downtown St. Louis on the Mississippi Riverfront and about 15-20 minutes away. The museum under the Arch is free (there is a charge to ride to the top of the Arch). Other sites include the City Museum, Union Station and Ferris Wheel, the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis (World Class Mosaics), The University City Loop and Blueberry Hill Restaurant, National Blues Museum, and much more.
